You can't really see it through his hair . . . but Austin had his first stitch this last weekend. Ben had taken the kids to his basketball game at the church. Apparently, Austin had climbed up on a table . . . fell . . . and hit his head.
Luckily, one of the guys playing basketball was a doctor and had his kit in his car. He stitched Austin's head right there at the church . . . and yes . . . he only needed one stitch!
Ben was ordained as a high priest this last weekend also. He is now serving in the bishopric of our ward. Thus . . . a weekend of firsts (if "firsts" is even a word)!

Wow! So eventful! first off, you look GORGEOUS in this family picture! And that is so sad about Austin;s little head, that doctor was REAL clutch! And that is exciting about ben's new calling, he will do SO well! And I can not believe the PRovo tabernacle burned down!! Doug graduated there! And it really did look like a castle:) Im glad Gwen has finally decided to get married in the temple:)
love you,
Rebekah
WOW! What a weekend for you guys! Keep that guy as a friend. You always need a "last minute" doctor around!
Congratulations on your new calling, Ben. Great family picture!
