Little Lisa

Lisa is my youngest sister. Growing up I would often call her "Little Lisa" to tease her. I'm sure she loved that:) Anyways, Lisa and Alex were married in the Portland, OR temple last Friday.

President Bair . . . a longtime family friend performed the sealing.

Here is my immediate family! My sister Kristi and I were both married to our husbands in the Portland, OR temple too. We grew up in Vancouver, Washington which is right across the river from Portland . . . and my parents still live there. It is so fun to go home!

Austin and me at the reception. Maybe one day I will find a different dress to wear . . .

Ben and I along the Columbia River at Lisa's luncheon. Congratulations Lisa and Alex! We loved being there for you guys!

The Adamson Side

I don't think my family has ALL been together since Thanksgiving of 2007!

My girls finally met their cousin Carter . . . and Carter (and his parents) met Austin.

Grandma had us all over for dinner. Thanks for the wonderful dinner! It was so fun to be with everyone!

Abby & Austin

Well, the day we have been anticipating and planning for finally came! Abby was baptized and Austin was blessed this last Saturday. What a day!

Thank you to everyone who came to support us! We really appreciate the travel and sacrifice everyone made to be there.

A Rare Occassion

My sisters and me along with husbands (well . . . one of them is a "husband to be")! We are hardly ever all together . . . since Kristi and Steve live out in Boston. Los Hermanos is one of my favorite resturants. Thanks for the fun girls!

The Ranch

For the 4th of July, Ben and I headed out to Cody, Wyoming . . . the new homestead of Ben's parents.  Ben flew out to Boise a few days before the 4th to help drive one of the moving trucks. I drove out to Idaho Falls by myself with the kiddos :) . . . the next day to meet up with the rest of his family and then drive in tandem to Cody.  This trip was so much fun and I am anxious to get back out there!

We stopped at Old Faithful in Yellowstone.

Here is a 4 generation picture.  We have Heard Fales, David Fales, Ben Fales and Austin Fales (who rolled over for the first time on this trip)!

My girls LOVED the horses.  All they wanted to do was go out and ride horses.  And Ben . . . what can I say?  What a good lookin' cowboy!

On the 4th we went to the Cody parade, where David's cousin was the honored citizen.
That night we went to the rodeo.

Anyone familiar with Robert Duvall?  He has been in so many movies.  For example, Kicking and Screaming, Secondhand Lions . . . anyway, he just happened to be in the parking lot at the stadium.  I am so sad we didn't get a picture to prove this "claim to fame", but Ben went and shook his hand and talked to him for a few minutes.

We had a great time.  Thanks Fales family!
